Sony SDX1-CL AIT Cleaning Tape Cartridge is an Advanced Intelligent Tape (AIT) format cleaning tape cartridge. It is designed for use with Sony's AIT 1,2 and 3 tape drives. It helps clean the tape head and maintain a clean environment ensuring a long drive life. Sony SDX1-CL cleaning tape cartridge offers up to 60 cleaning cycles with AIT 1 and 2 tape drives and approximately 55 cleanings for AIT-3 tape drives. The AIT drives come with a self-cleaning mechanism and thus do not require frequent cleaning. Use this cartridge when the drive's cleaning lamp is lit. Sonys SDX1-CL cleaning tape cartridge can also be used with confidence in AIT Turbo drives and offers up to 60 cleaning cycles.
